My AI OS: Where Does Claude Keep My Graphs? (Behind the Scenes)

My AI OS: Where Does Claude Keep My Graphs? (Behind the Scenes)

A viewer asked James a simple question in the comments: where do your files actually go? He’d been talking about “graphs” and playbooks for weeks — so this video is him opening the actual folder and showing you.

It’s Just a Folder

Campus AI OS isn’t an app you log into and it isn’t running in someone else’s cloud. It’s a plugin you install into Claude or ChatGPT that creates folders and files on your own hard drive. James opens Claude, makes sure he’s working inside his TrainingSites folder, and says “hello Dean” — that’s the entire interface.

“This is a folder and it’s a home for the campus AIOS playbooks. The runbook Dean follows to point employees and tools at a goal and keep going until the output passes a check.”

Departments Are Folders. Playbooks Live Inside Them.

Inside the Claude Cowork folder, James has one folder per department — community, education, marketing, sales, admin, lead generation. A playbook is stored in a `playbooks` folder and, technically, it’s a skill — just one James never wrote by hand.

What’s Actually Inside a Playbook

Opening one up in Obsidian (a free markdown reader), you can see the contract itself: what triggers it, what the goal is, the order of stages, which AI employee owns each stage, what that stage has to produce, and a done-check that verifies the work instead of trusting a model’s own claim that it’s finished. It also carries a stop condition (so it doesn’t run forever or burn tokens), a run ID, and human gates — the points where James has to say yes before anything moves forward.

Dean Checks Before He Improvises

Any time a job touches more than one team, Dean checks the playbook registry first. If there’s already a playbook for it — like “repurpose my YouTube video” — he runs the registered version instead of making it up fresh every time. Say the sentence, and the same nine steps run the same way, every time.

“Again, this is nothing that I put together… this is actually Claude and Dean that put this together as I was just explaining what I wanted to have happen.”

Every Run Leaves a Trail

Each time a playbook runs, it mints a run ID, creates a directory for that specific run, and every stage writes its output there — a folder you can open later and see exactly what happened, in order, with nothing hidden.

✓ Check Your Work

Ask yourself: for the thing you keep doing by hand across more than one part of your business, does a written contract exist for it anywhere — or does it only exist in your head?
