Students Tell You What They Want — Just Not Directly
Most students do not send you an email that says “please add a module on X.” Instead, they ask questions in your community. They send a message saying they got stuck on a specific step. They post in your Facebook group looking for a resource you never created. They ask the same three questions on every live call.
All of that is feedback — it just arrives in fragments, scattered across different channels, at different times. The signal is there. The problem is that no one has time to read through six months of community posts and identify the pattern manually. That is exactly what AI is good at.
How to Run the Feedback Analysis
Gather your raw material first. Copy questions from your FluentCommunity or Facebook group, pull recurring support emails, note the questions that come up most often on live calls, and include any direct feedback you have from surveys or testimonials. Paste it all into Claude — it does not need to be formatted neatly.
Then ask: “Read through all of this student feedback. What are the three to five most common unmet needs? What topics do my students keep running into that my course does not appear to address? What This Means for Educators
Adding to a course based on student demand is a fundamentally different process from adding based on what you think students need.
