Key Concepts
BetterDocs as Agent Memory
BetterDocs isn’t just a knowledge base for humans — it’s your AI agent’s memory. When connected via the BetterDocs MCP connector, Claude can search and retrieve exact answers from your library rather than hallucinating. Every how-to article you write becomes part of your AI’s knowledge. Content should be 800–1000+ words with clear headings for best retrieval results.
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
RAG = giving your AI access to your specific content library at query time, instead of relying on training data alone. Your BetterDocs articles, blog posts, and SOPs are indexed. When a member or agent asks a question, the AI retrieves relevant docs first, then generates an answer grounded in your actual content. This eliminates hallucination on topics specific to your business.
FluentCommunity Space Visibility
Three levels control who can see and access spaces:
- Public — Visible to anyone, including non-members; anyone can join
- Private — Visible to all community members, but content requires enrollment or admin approval
- Secret — Completely hidden from the member directory; accessible only via direct invitation or admin assignment
Cloudflare as a Free Security Layer
Moving your DNS to Cloudflare gives you a free WAF (Web Application Firewall), bot protection, DDoS mitigation, and CDN performance — all on the free plan. The only action required is updating two nameservers at your domain registrar. Takes 30 minutes; propagates in 24–48 hours.
Step-by-Step Workflows
Modern Events Calendar Setup
- Plugins → Add New → Search "Modern Events Calendar Lite"
- Install and Activate
- If Pro version: enter license key from your account dashboard
- Create a calendar page with the MEC shortcode
- Add events via the MEC post type in WordPress admin
- Events appear on your page with built-in registration/RSVP options
FluentBooking + Zoom Integration
- Install FluentBooking plugin
- Create a Calendar (1:1 coaching, group call, etc.)
- Set your availability hours and buffer times
- Connect Zoom: FluentBooking → Integrations → Zoom → OAuth connect
- Confirmed bookings auto-generate Zoom meeting links
- Embed booking page URL on your site or in FluentCommunity space
- Connect to FluentCRM: bookings can trigger tags and automation sequences
Cloudflare DNS Migration
- Create free Cloudflare account at cloudflare.com
- Add your domain → Cloudflare scans existing DNS records
- Review and confirm imported records (A, CNAME, MX, etc.)
- Copy the two Cloudflare nameservers provided
- Go to your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.)
- Update nameservers to the two Cloudflare nameservers
- Wait 24–48 hours for full propagation
- In Cloudflare: enable WAF rules, bot protection, and set SSL to "Full (Strict)"
BetterDocs Knowledge Base for Agents
- Install BetterDocs plugin
- Create doc categories matching your knowledge domains (e.g., Platform Setup, Marketing, AI Tools)
- Write docs in each category — minimum 800 words, clear H2/H3 headings
- Install BetterDocs MCP connector in Claude Cowork
- Claude can now search your docs: "Find how to set up FluentBooking" → retrieves your actual doc
- Use for agent memory, member self-serve answers, and support deflection
RAG Content Optimization
- Minimum 800–1000 words per article for sufficient context
- Use descriptive H2/H3 headings that match how people search
- Include specific product names, version numbers, and step-by-step lists
- Organize into categories that match your agent’s knowledge domains
- Avoid short FAQ posts — combine related questions into comprehensive guides

Q&A Highlights
Q: What’s the difference between public, private, and secret community spaces?
Public = anyone can see and join. Private = visible to all members but content requires enrollment or approval. Secret = completely hidden from the member directory — only accessible by direct invitation. Use secret spaces for paid tiers, VIP groups, or internal teams.
Q: Can I use FluentBooking instead of Calendly?
Yes, and it’s better for campus owners. FluentBooking integrates directly with FluentCommunity and FluentCRM. When someone books, you can automatically tag them, trigger an email sequence, or enroll them in a course. Calendly requires Zapier to do any of that.
Q: How do I make my content accessible to AI agents?
Install BetterDocs, connect the MCP connector to Claude, and write content 800+ words with clear headings. Your agent can then search and retrieve exact answers from your library. Short posts under 300 words don’t give the agent enough context to work with.
Q: Is Cloudflare hard to set up?
About 30 minutes total. The only technical step is updating two nameservers at your domain registrar. Everything else is clicking through Cloudflare’s setup wizard. After propagation (24–48 hours), enable WAF and bot rules from the Security dashboard.
Teachable Moments
Your docs are your agent’s brain. Every how-to article, SOP, and FAQ you write in BetterDocs becomes searchable knowledge for your Claude agents. The time you invest in documentation pays double: it helps your members self-serve AND makes your agents smarter.
FluentBooking + FluentCRM = closed loop. When booking triggers CRM automations, your whole sales and onboarding process becomes automatic. A coaching call booking can tag the client, start an onboarding sequence, send prep materials, and record the relationship — all without manual work.
Cloudflare is the single best 30-minute WordPress security investment. Bot attacks, credential stuffing, and DDoS are real threats for growing membership sites. Cloudflare’s free WAF blocks most of them before they hit your server. There’s no reason not to do it.
